CHEWY SALTED OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 1 stick of room temperature salted butter (1/2 cup)
- 2 cups of light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups of All Purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THEM:
1. With a standing or handheld mixer, cream together 1 stick (1/2 cup) room temp salted butter & 2 cups brown sugar.
2. Add in 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla extract until combined.
3. Next, add in 2 cups of all purpose flour and 1/2 cup oats and a tsp of baking soda.
4. Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips! Use a cookie scoop to form into 24ish cookies.
5. Bake 12-13 min at 350 then sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
